In an effort to increase and improve upon service to the provider community, GHI Medicare meets quarterly with the Provider Communications Advisory Group members. During these meetings, we share information regarding new Medicare initiatives and significant changes in the Medicare program. The PCOM members are given the opportunity to express current hot topics, billing issues or policy changes.
One of the goals of the group meetings is to develop and implement effective ways to communicate with the provider community. The group provides input and feedback on training topics, provider education materials, and dates and locations of provider education workshops and events. The group also identifies important provider education issues, and recommends effective ways to disseminate information to appropriate providers and suppliers and their staff.
We will be posting on our website minutes from the meetings and a list of members comprising the PCOM Advisory Group. PCOM members will be notified prior to posting member participation information on our website.
Meeting agendas, which include discussion topics gathered from solicitation of group members, will be distributed to all members of the group at least 2 days prior to any meeting.
