GHI Medicare is a Medicare Part B carrier for Queens County, New York

Group Health Incorporated (GHI) has been a Medicare Part B Carrier since 1966, processing claims for services rendered in its jurisdiction of Queens County, New York. In addition to Part B, GHI holds several other contracts with the Federal Government to administer various programs on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Effective May 23, 2008, all claims submitted via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) MUST contain the NPI and MAY NOT contain the GHIMedicare Provider Identification Number (PIN). Claims received without the NPI or with the NPI and the PIN will be rejected. See the EDI section for a list of these errors.
